HOW WILL THE WINNER BE CHOSEN?

After the contest closes, a Canadian Living judging panel will select the winner based on the following criteria: number of votes received, the suitability of the kitchen for renovation, and quality of entries submitted. The entry that receives the largest number of votes will not necessarily be chosen as the Winner.

The decisions of the judging organization are final with respect to all aspects of the contest. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants and individuals requesting a copy of contest rules.

The odds of an entry being selected depend on the number and quality of eligible entries received by the contest closing date.

All entries become the property of Transcontinental Media G.P. and none will be returned. Canadian Living (Transcontinental Media G.P.) and third parties may make the information on these entry forms available for promotional purposes unless entrants request.

WHAT IS THE PRIZE?

The winner will be awarded a $25,000 kitchen makeover from Home Depot. The makeover will include consultation with a Home Depot representative, plus a total of $25,000 retail value worth of products.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded, and are not transferable or convertible to cash, except at the option of Canadian Living (Transcontinental Media G.P.), (together, the "Contest Sponsors").

Prizes may not be sold or traded. Should the winner refuse a prize, the Contest Sponsors and their respective advertising and promotional agencies are released from any obligation related to the prize.

WHEN WILL THE WINNER BE NOTIFIED?

The selected entrant will be notified by phone on or before Friday, January 22, 2010. The Contest Sponsors retain the right in their absolute discretion to make substitutions of equivalent kind or value in the event of the unavailability of any element of a prize for any reason whatsoever.
